Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet invites students to a Human Resources internship where you will learn HR functionalities and gain real-world experience in employee relations and partnerships.

You will contribute to key projects, assist in strategic initiatives, and engage with cross-functional teams while receiving mentorship and hands-on workshops to build professional skills. Housing is available for out-of-town interns.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as an incoming Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Valid driver’s license required
• Strong communication, writing & time management skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

Responsibilities

• Learn functionalities of Human Resources while gaining real world understanding of HR operations, employee relations & partnership
• Contribute to key projects: Work on real-world projects, making impactful contributions to the business
• Assist in Strategic Initiatives: Learn, develop, and implement ideas based off Blain's Pillars
• Engage in cross-functional teams: Collaborate with different functions to understand how cross functional support contributes to the overall success of the business
• Support Daily Operations: Assist the team with day-to-day task to gain insight on the departments process
• Present Your Findings: Deliver a presentation of your project and research to key stakeholders
• Receive mentor and coaching: Work closely with your mentor receiving feedback and guidance to help you navigate your career path
• Participate in hands-on workshops: Led by industry experts, gain valuable insights and skills to equip you for success in the professional world
