Forvia is seeking a year-round HR Intern for its Simpsonville, KY location. The role supports the HR Manager in day-to-day management within a manufacturing environment, offering real-world experience in HR processes and documentation.

The intern will collect reports, maintain personnel files, assist with training data, and participate in employee engagement activities. Enrollment in a 4-year college with 12+ credit hours and a minimum 2.8 GPA are required; U.S.

Responsibilities

• Collect information and prepare reports in line with Group HR policies.

• Prepare HR correspondence and plant communications.
• Lead or participate in employee engagement activities.

Your Mission, Roles And Responsibilities

The role of the HR Apprentice/Intern is to support the HR Manager in the day-to-day HR management, in accordance with the Group's human resources policies and procedures, while obtaining real-life experience in a fast-paced HR team within a manufacturing/production environment.

Duties will vary, dependent on the educational goals and objectives of the apprentice & the needs of the organization.

In General, An HR Apprentice/Intern Can Expect To

• Collect information and prepare reports in line with Group HR policies
• Support all Personal files and Employee Administration and Documentations
• Maintain employee files and answer employee queries.
• Assist in tracking training data for all departments
• Prepare HR correspondence and plant communications
• Lead/participate in Employee engagement activities
• Have Spanish speaking proficiency

Other HR initiatives as assigned by the Site HR Manager or Site Plant Manager.

Apprentice/Interns must be enrolled in an accredited 4 year College or University taking a minimum of 12 hours during the semester of employment or are part of an University credited Co-op or Intern program. All co – ops and interns must be eligible to work in the United States and do not require sponsorship.

Minimum of 2.8 GPA
