ProCaps Laboratories in Colorado is seeking an HR Generalist/TA Specialist to serve as the onsite HR partner, handling day-to-day HR support and full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing and operations.

You’ll partner with the Henderson, NV team to align HR practices, manage employee relations, onboarding, payroll support, and compliance with federal and state requirements, building local talent pipelines in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required; relevant experience considered.
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience with full-cycle recruiting.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing/operational environment preferred.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, payroll and benefits coordination.

POSITION SUMMARY

The HR Generalist / TA Specialist serves as the primary onsite Human Resources representative for ProCaps Laboratories’ Colorado facility. This hands‑on role provides day‑to‑day HR support to employees and leaders while owning full‑cycle recruitment for manufacturing and operational positions.

Working in close partnership with the Human Resources team in Henderson, Nevada, this position supports employee relations, manager coaching, onboarding, HR administration, engagement, policy implementation, and compliance with federal, Colorado, and local employment requirements. The role also develops strong local talent pipelines to meet the staffing needs of a growing, fast‑paced, quality‑driven, regulated manufacturing operation.

The ideal candidate is approachable, calm, organized, resourceful, and comfortable working independently onsite. This person exercises sound judgment, protects confidentiality, follows through with urgency, and knows when to escape complex or high‑risk matters to HR leadership.

WHAT YOU BRING (MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS)

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience that includes hands‑on generalist responsibilities and full‑cycle recruiting; experience serving as a primary onsite HR contact strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting employees and leaders in manufacturing, warehouse, production, distribution, or another operational environment strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, HR administration, payroll and benefits coordination, and federal and Colorado employment requirements.
  • Experience recruiting hourly and skilled operational talent and developing pipelines through job boards, direct sourcing, referrals, networking, and community partnerships.
  • Experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, CPG, cGMP, FDA‑regulated, or similarly regulated environments preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, make sound decisions within established authority, and elevate appropriately.
  • Approachable, calm, and service‑oriented interpersonal style with strong written communication, documentation, organization, problem‑solving, and follow‑through skills.
  • Experience with HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems, job boards, sourcing tools, and reporting systems; Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Workable, and ADP experience preferred.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

Onsite HR Partnership & Employee Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for day‑to‑day employee and manager questions at the Colorado facility, providing timely, consistent, and professional HR support.
  • Maintain regular visibility throughout the facility and build trusted relationships across production, warehouse, quality, maintenance, and administrative teams.
  • Coach supervisors and managers on employee communication, attendance, performance expectations, workplace concerns, documentation, and consistent application of company policies.
  • Partner with the Henderson HR team to align the Colorado facility with company practices, communicate emerging workforce concerns, and elevate complex or high‑risk matters promptly.

Employee Relations & Performance Support

  • Collaborate closely with the Human Resources Business Partner in Henderson on employee relations, performance management, investigations, corrective actions, and other sensitive employee matters.
  • Respond to concerns with fairness, empathy, confidentiality, neutrality, and sound judgment; gather facts, document conversations, maintain organized records, and coordinate appropriate next steps.
  • Guide supervisors and managers through coaching, performance improvement, and documentation processes while recognizing matters that require immediate escalation.
  • Support positive employee relations, recognition, retention, and engagement efforts that strengthen ProCaps’ culture and employee experience.

Full‑Cycle Talent Acquisition

  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner in Henderson to align recruiting strategy, priorities, selection practices, candidate pipelines, and hiring activity across both facilities.
  • Support full‑cycle recruitment for hourly, skilled labor, production, packaging, warehouse, maintenance, sanitation, quality support, shipping, receiving, and other roles based on business needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify staffing needs, schedules, qualifications, selection criteria, and timelines; source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews, collect feedback, support offers and pre‑employment requirements, and facilitate new‑hire transitions.
  • Build proactive pipelines using job boards, Boolean search, referrals, social media, networking, hiring events, schools, workforce agencies, and community partnerships.
  • Provide local labor‑market and compensation insights, deliver responsive candidate communication, and maintain accurate requisition and candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System.

Onboarding, Offboarding & HR Administration

  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Employer Brand & Employee Experience Specialist to deliver consistent onboarding, offboarding, employee communications, and follow‑up activities for the Colorado facility.
  • Ensure first‑day readiness, support orientation, complete required documentation, introduce new employees to facility leaders, and help create a welcoming and organized new‑hire experience.
  • Coordinate employee status changes, transfers, promotions, separations, and offboarding with accurate, confidential, and timely documentation.
  • Maintain employee records, prepare routine reports, track follow‑up items, and help ensure HR transactions are completed accurately and on time.

Payroll, Benefits & HRIS Support

  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Benefits & Payroll Manager in Henderson to support accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, and consistent employee service for Colorado employees.
  • Serve as the onsite contact for routine timekeeping, payroll, benefits, leave, and HR‑system questions, gathering required information and escalating specialized or complex matters.
  • Review and communicate time‑keeping exceptions, employee changes, payroll inputs, and supporting documentation within required deadlines.
  • Support benefits enrollment, qualifying life events, open enrollment, and required documentation while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Compliance, Policy & Workplace Practices

  • Support compliance with federal, Colorado, and applicable local employment requirements, including Colorado pay‑transparency and job‑posting obligations, in partnership with HR leadership.
  • Implement and consistently communicate company policies, procedures, and HR programs; monitor required postings, personnel documentation, and onsite practices, and coordinate corrective action for identified gaps.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee, candidate, medical, payroll, benefits, compensation, and business information and support audit readiness and regulatory or internal documentation requests.

Culture, Engagement & Community Partnerships

  • Promote ProCaps’ culture, values, quality standards, benefits, and career opportunities to employees and candidates.
  • Support employee communications, recognition activities, engagement events, and initiatives that strengthen connection and retention at the Colorado facility.
  • Build relationships with colleges, trade schools, workforce‑development organizations, community partners, and industry groups; represent ProCaps professionally at hiring and community events.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and report recruiting and workforce metrics, including staffing progress, time‑to‑fill, source effectiveness, candidate conversion, offer acceptance, and turnover themes.
  • Use data, employee feedback, and operational observations to recommend improvements to HR service, recruiting, onboarding, employee experience, and retention.
  • Participate in HR projects, facility initiatives, and cross‑functional meetings and perform other duties as needed to support employees and business operations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Duties are performed primarily in a smoke‑free environment
  • Position requires regular interaction with manufacturing operations and business leaders throughout the facility.
