Jamco America Inc. in Everett, WA seeks an experienced Senior HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle, including relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years of progressive HR experience and familiarity with HRIS systems and ADP. You will partner with managers, coordinate hires and onboarding, administer benefits and leave programs, maintain records, and drive HR initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

  • Typically 3–5 years of progressive HR experience including recruiting/talent acquisition support.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
  • Working knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Experience with employee relations, benefits, FMLA/leave administration, onboarding, and general HR functions.
  • Experience with HRIS systems; ADP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a knowledgeable HR resource for employees, managers, and leaders.
  • Support employee relations and provide guidance on HR policies and workplace concerns.
  • Partner with Recruiting and hiring managers on sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Coordinate onboarding and employee lifecycle activities including hires, transfers, promotions, and separations.
  • Administer and support employee benefits, FMLA, and other leave programs.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS.
  • Prepare HR reports and workforce communications.
  • Support employee engagement, training, and other people-focused programs.
  • Assist with employment-law compliance and administration of HR policies and programs.
  • Lead or participate in HR projects and process improvements.
  • Build relationships and take ownership of HR programs.

Summary

P rovides comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle, including employee relations, recruiting and onboarding, benefits, leave administration, HRIS, compliance, employee engagement, and HR initiatives. Serves as a trusted resource to employees and managers while independently managing priorities, supporting HR programs, and driving process improvements.

  • Serve as a knowledgeable and approachable HR resource for employees, managers, and leaders.

  • Partner with Recruiting and hiring managers on sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate communication, offers, and onboarding.
  • Coordinate onboarding and employee lifecycle activities, including hires, transfers, promotions, employee changes, and separations.
  • Administer and support employee benefits, FMLA, and other applicable leave programs.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, transactions, and organizational information within the HRIS.
  • Prepare HR reports, employee documentation, communications, and related workforce information.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, training, and other people-focused programs.
  • Assist with employment-law compliance and consistent administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Lead or participate in HR projects, process improvements, and department initiatives.
  • Build effective relationships across the organization and take increasing ownership of HR programs and responsibilities.
  • Provide guidance and support to others as experience and organizational needs require.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Typically 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including recruiting/talent acquisition support.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
  • Working knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Experience with employee relations, benefits, FMLA/leave administration, onboarding, and general HR functions.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and employee-data management; ADP experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Sound professional judgment and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities, collaborate effectively, and take initiative.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or other fast-paced industry experience is a plus.
  • Successful completion of required pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Supervisory Responsibilities
No formal supervisory responsibilities. May provide guidance, mentoring, and support to other team members and lead assigned HR initiatives or projects.
