Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Generalist, Human Resources to cover the full scope of HR activities, including hiring, staffing, training, compensation, benefits, and health and safety. You will partner with Operations and manage regulatory compliance while maintaining a union-free environment.

You’ll handle onboarding, employee relations investigations, leave programs, and HR projects, with attention to accuracy, confidentiality, and policy adherence across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 2–3 years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience with HRIS and time/attendance systems.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment and benefits laws.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• PHR or SHRM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Keep management informed about HR developments.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding.
• Maintain employee files and training materials.
• Manage leave programs (e.g., FMLA, disability, workers’ compensation).
• Implement HR metrics to measure performance.
• Assist with performance management and terminations.
• Support HR Customer Service hours.
