Elite Security & Staffing in San Diego, CA is seeking an HR Generalist / Payroll Coordinator to oversee payroll for a high-volume hourly workforce and support broader HR functions. The role partners with the HR Manager and reports to HR leadership.

The position offers full benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and PTO, with a competitive hourly wage. Requires HR experience, payroll system familiarity (ADP/Paylocity), and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• Three+ years of HR experience.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, timekeeping or ATS systems such as ADP/Paylocity/ABI is highly preferred.
• Intermediate Excel skills for reporting and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate payroll processing for a high-volume hourly workforce and ensure timely approvals.
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and employee record management.
• Maintain accurate payroll approvals, adjustments, and documentation.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and ensure confidentiality of data.
• Coordinate CalSavers contributions and payroll-related communications.
