Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking an HR Generalist to support the Lawrence, MA manufacturing site within the People Relations team. You will partner with leaders, provide day-to-day HR guidance, and report to the Human Resources Manager.

Responsibilities include employee relations, performance management, onboarding and orientation, benefits inquiries, and collaboration with cross-functional HR teams to drive engagement and consistent HR messaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of related HR experience
• Solid understanding of employee relations, performance management, compensation, and employment laws
• Ability to work across multiple locations and collaborate with teams

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders and supervisors to align HR initiatives with business objectives and provide guidance.
• Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and PIPs.
• Support the employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit discussions and orientation.
• Assist with leaves of absence, Workers' Compensation, and benefits inquiries.
• Collaborate with HR CoEs, Communications, and cross-functional teams to align programs.
