Job summary

Leprino in Fort Morgan, CO seeks an HR Generalist I to support people, leaders, and operations. The role partners with plant leadership to ensure day-to-day HR support, compliance, and workforce needs are met with care.

Starting compensation ranges between $77,000 and $86,000, with an annual target bonus of 5%. You’ll manage onboarding, benefits, records, leave, and reporting while helping to foster a positive, compliant work environment across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a closely related field.
• 1–2 years of HR experience supporting employee-facing processes.
• Knowledge of Federal and Colorado employment laws, including leave administration and wage/hour concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with employees and leaders plant-wide through regular presence and clear communication.
• Coordinate daily HR office activities, recordkeeping, file management, and employee-facing processes.
• Apply attendance and timekeeping policies, coaching and documenting outcomes.
• Support employee relations by reviewing concerns, investigating, and escalating when needed.
• Prepare disciplinary documentation and participate in meetings and terminations.
• Coordinate recruiting and hiring activities for the site, including postings and interviews.
• Support onboarding and orientation for new hires to ensure a welcoming start.
• Facilitate employee engagement efforts, surveys, focus groups, and wellness initiatives.
• Coordinate leaves of absence and FMLA, tracking status and timelines.
• Administer site-level benefits education, open enrollment, and claim assistance.
• Maintain HR systems (UKG, SuccessFactors) for accurate data and reporting.
• Prepare reports and audits related to compliance and applicant flow, including CA requirements.
