LOCATION OF POSITION
Office of Human Resources 301 W. Preston Street Baltimore, MD 21201 This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule.
Main Purpose of Job
This position functions as a Human Resources Generalist working primarily in the Recruitment & Selection / Talent Acquisition area for DGS’ Office of Human Resources. This position is primarily responsible for conducting full-lifecycle recruitment from vacancy to hire, to enable the agency to fill vacancies promptly and efficiently with the best talent. In addition, this position is responsible for serving as a liaison between division/unit managers, HR management and the Department of Budget & Management in various HR functional areas, and working as a generalist to assist on HR projects and work in other HR functional areas as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Six years and six months of experience, two years and six months of professional HR experience involving recruitment and employment services, classification and compensation, employee relations, test development and validation job analysis, job evaluation, salary administration, HR program evaluation, or HR policy formulation and an additional four years of professional HR management work experience in the areas of recruitment and selection, classification, salary administration, employee relations, test development and validation or as a generalist.
