Job summary

Atrium is seeking an HR Generalist based in Somerville, NJ. The HR Generalist will support daily HR operations, covering recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and policy implementation.

This role requires a candidate legally authorized to work in the United States. Key duties include full-cycle recruitment, benefits administration, records management, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HR experience preferred
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment including postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding coordination
• Maintain accurate employee records and confidential documentation
• Administer benefits programs and assist with payroll coordination
• Serve as point of contact for employee relations matters
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR regulations
• Coordinate employee training, onboarding, and professional development initiatives
• Support communication of HR policies and company culture programs
• Assist with leave administration, attendance tracking, and timekeeping processes
• Manage workers’ compensation claims and related documentation
• Prepare disciplinary notices and support corrective action procedures
• Support social compliance audits and corrective action plans
