Job summary

KnitWell Group is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide day-to-day HR support for associates and leadership at our Greencastle distribution center. You will implement HR policies, support compliance, and drive initiatives that foster a productive work environment.

You will handle associate relations, onboarding, leave administration, performance management, and engagement programs, while ensuring OSHA compliance and policy enforcement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• SHRM-CP and PHR certifications are preferred.
• Typically 2–5 years of HR experience.
• Experience across multiple HR functions: associate relations, benefits, performance management, compliance.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday, ADP, BambooHR) and Microsoft Office; basic Excel reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day HR support for associates and leadership within the distribution center.
• Serve as key resource for associate relations, new hire orientation, compliance, performance management and engagement initiatives.
• Support supervisors in managing performance issues and disciplinary action.
• Monitor attendance trends and assist with corrective actions; administer leave programs (FMLA, ADA).
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, OSHA and company policies.
• Collaborate with Asset Protection, Workers’ Compensation and payroll teams as needed.
