Job summary

Starz is seeking an HR Generalist in Los Angeles to deliver responsive HR support across the employee lifecycle, partnering with HR Business Partners to execute people initiatives and maintain data integrity.

You will be the frontline resource for employees and managers on policies and processes, handling job changes, terminations, and documentation in Workday, while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years HR experience (internship, coordinator, or generalist roles acceptable).
• Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred) and strong Excel/Outlook/SharePoint skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with discretion handling confidential info.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; HR certification aPHR/PHR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first point of contact for employee and manager questions on HR policies, processes, and systems.
• Execute employee lifecycle changes (promotions, transfers, terminations) with accurate documentation in Workday.
• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition and COEs on data audits and system clean-up.
• Support engagement activities and company events in partnership with Learning & Development and Corporate Communications.
• Maintain data integrity and compliance in employee records.
