Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a proactive HR Generalist to support the growing team in Carlsbad, CA. You will handle recruitment, onboarding, benefits, workers' comp, compliance, and employee relations to ensure a smooth employee experience.

The role emphasizes data confidentiality, HRIS maintenance, and collaboration with the Head of People Operations to align HR operations with company goals. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; SHRM-CP/PHR not required but beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a generalist or similar HR role.
• Working knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Proficiency with Payroll and/or HRIS platforms.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment: posting jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews.
• Lead onboarding and offboarding for smooth employee experience.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and ensure data confidentiality.
• Support payroll and benefits administration, including open enrollment and vendor coordination.
• Guide employees on policies, procedures, and HR inquiries.
• Monitor compliance with employment laws and internal policies; update handbooks; audit readiness.
• Coordinate employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
• Assist with performance management processes, including reviews and improvement plans.
• Prepare and deliver HR reports and analytics to Head of People Operations HR Generalist.

This role will be responsible for executing day-to-day HR functions across recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, workers compensation, compliance, and employee relations. Key responsibilities
