Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and HR administration.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fully remote environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, Microsoft Office, and other HR technology.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an HR resource for employees and managers regarding policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
  • Support employee relations matters, investigations, corrective actions, and performance management.
  • Coordinate recruitment, background checks, drug screenings, onboarding, and pre-employment requirements.
  • Assist with maintaining employee licenses, certifications, credentials, and required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS information.
  • Assist with benefits, leave administration, payroll-related matters, and employee status changes.
  • Support compliance with applicable employment laws, company policies, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with employee separations, including resignations, terminations, and offboarding.
  • Partner with leadership across multiple locations to address staffing and employee needs.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and organizational information.
  • Assist with HR projects, audits, reporting, and other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team supporting a multi-location substance abuse and behavioral healthcare organization. This position will provide day-to-day HR support to employees and leaders while assisting with employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, performance management, benefits, and general HR administration.

  • Experience supporting multiple locations or remote employees.
  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.
  • Experience with employee credentialing, licensing, Joint Commission, CARF, or state regulatory requirements.
Remote Work Requirements

This is a fully remote position. Candidates must have a reliable internet connection, professional remote workspace, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently during established business hours.

Occasional travel to company locations may be required based on business needs.
