Job summary

CMC in Mesa, AZ seeks a Human Resources Recruiter to manage staffing needs, coordinate new hire orientations, and ensure compliance with EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA and related laws. You will use CMC's ATS, partner with managers, and help build a strong, diverse workforce.

Requirements include 3+ years HR experience, a Bachelor's in HR or related field, proficiency in MS Office, and bilingual English-Spanish. Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years work experience in human resources.
  • Knowledge of EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, Workers' Comp, DOL, E-Verify and related laws.
  • Strong client-facing skills with a consultative mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, with occasional overnight travel.
  • Bilingual verbal and written communication in English-Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure staffing needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Manage recruiting activity and documentation in the ATS and in accordance with affirmative action policies.
  • Conduct new employee orientations.
  • Foster positive employee relations and build the CMC culture based on our Guiding Principles.
  • Process day-to-day transactions such as new hires and employee data changes, ensuring data integrity in the system.
  • Oversee compliance with EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA and related laws.
  • Assist with investigations and formulate responses to government or internal charges.
  • Participate in compensation planning, performance assessments and employee development planning.
  • Educate employees regarding benefits and support annual enrollment.
  • Provide training and facilitation.
  • Identify and communicate issues to the HR Manager and help solve them.
  • Ensure consistent policy implementation.

What You'll Do
  • Responsible for making sure all staffing needs are met in a timely manner
  • Ensure all recruiting activity and documentation is managed in CMC's applicant tracking system and in accordance with affirmative action policies

  • Assist with investigations and formulate responses to government, legal or internally reported employee relations charges
  • Participate in compensation planning, performance assessment and employee development planning
  • Understand and educate employees regarding CMC's benefits, including support of the annual enrollment process
  • Training and facilitation
  • Identify and communicate general issues and concerns to the HR Manager and participate in solving such issues
  • Ensure consistent CMC policy implementation
What You'll Need
  • Minimum 3 years work experience required in human resources. This could include a combination of recruiting, employee relations, benefits, training, compensation, or labor relations
  • Knowledge of EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, Workers Compensation, DOL, E-Verify, and other related Federal & State laws required
  • Strong client facing skills with a consultative mindset and ability to effectively problem solve
  • Proficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
