Job summary

Vivid Impact is seeking an on-site HR Generalist in Louisville, KY to partner with leaders and teams on policy interpretation, performance management, investigations, onboarding, and safety programs. This role centers on bilingual support for English and Spanish staff and will guide talent acquisition until a dedicated recruiter is added.

It will require 3–5 years of HR experience, strong communication, and proficiency with UKG Ready and MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; HR certification is a plus.
  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required; strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of employment practices, HR compliance, and HR documentation; HRIS experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, confidentiality, and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary HR resource for leaders and team members on policies and employee relations.
  • Address employee relations matters, support corrective actions, investigations, and escalate high-risk issues.
  • Provide bilingual HR support to English- and Spanish-speaking staff.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and metrics.
  • Coordinate pre-employment activities and onboarding; partner with HRIS for data accuracy.
  • Maintain safety records and support engagement, culture initiatives, and events.

Job Overview:

The HR Generalist serves as a trusted, onsite human resources partner responsible for team member relations, talent acquisition, onboarding coordination, policy interpretation, performance management support, workplace investigations, and occupational safety program support. This role exercises independent judgment and discretion in evaluating team member and workplace matters, advising leaders, resolving routine and moderately complex issues, and recommending appropriate actions consistent with company policy, values, and applicable requirements. The HR Generalist serves as a key bilingual resource for English- and Spanish-speaking team members and will manage all talent acquisition functions until hiring volume consistently supports the addition of a dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist.

Schedule Details:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Workplace Type & Environment:

This is an Onsite Position, with remote work permitted on specific occasions, contingent upon pre-approval by leadership and is not a regular occurrence.

Travel between Vivid Impact locations and occasional external travel may be required.

Must have reliable transportation for travel between Vivid Impact locations within a 5-mile radius.

Compensation Details & Benefits:

$75,000-$80,000 annual salary.

What You'll Do:
  • Serve as a primary HR resource for leaders and team members on policies, performance, attendance, employee relations, and workplace concerns.
  • Address employee relations matters, support corrective actions, conduct workplace investigations, and elevate high-risk issues as appropriate.
  • Provide bilingual HR support to English- and Spanish-speaking team members.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviews, candidate communication, offers, and recruiting metrics.
  • Coordinate pre-employment activities and new hire orientation, partnering with HRIS to ensure accurate and timely employee information.
  • Maintain occupational safety records and support employee engagement, culture initiatives, company events, and other HR responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested by Leadership.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; HR certification is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
  • Experience in employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, recruiting, and onboarding.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Working knowledge of employment practices, HR compliance, and HR documentation; UKG Ready or similar HRIS experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, confidentiality, and Microsoft Office skills.
