Job summary

Discovery Land Company is seeking an HR Generalist for The Madison Club in La Quinta, CA. The role focuses on HR operations, onboarding, payroll support, benefits inquiries, and employee relations in a luxury hospitality setting.

You will maintain HRIS data, manage recruitment workflows, and assist with employee engagement initiatives while collaborating with the Senior HR Manager and GM. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years HR experience are preferred; bilingual Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree is highly desirable.
• 2+ years of HR experience, hospitality preferred.
• Spanish bilingual required.
• Experience with MS Office and HRIS (Workday desired).
• Recruiting/Talent Acquisition experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, new hire coordination, and off-boarding.
• Maintain HRIS, employee files, and internal tools with accurate data.
• Respond to HR questions on onboarding, benefits, payroll.
• Assist input sheets for biweekly payroll processing.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and HR projects.
• Assist with employee relations investigations with Sr HR Manager.
• Update applicant tracking system with candidate status.
• Manage employee housing process and related walkthroughs.
• Support other HR projects requested by leadership.
