Alotten in Austin, TX is seeking an HR Generalist to support a diverse portfolio of clients, collaborate with HR Business Partners, and deliver practical people solutions while growing consulting skills.

You will handle onboarding, performance cycles, policy updates, employee relations, and HR data analysis, with opportunities to work on HRIS projects and client-facing initiatives as part of a collaborative team.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 2+ years of HR experience in generalist/operations roles.
• Knowledge of onboarding, employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, and HR systems.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Clear communication and client-service mindset.
• Curiosity to learn consulting across multiple clients.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver day-to-day HR: onboard, update policies, manage performance cycles, and maintain HR processes across clients.
• Assist with employee relations: handle routine inquiries and escalate complex issues with guidance.
• Use data to inform work: analyze HR data and score insights to support recommendations.
• Execute collaboratively: assist with HRIS rollouts and other people processes with client teams.
• Contribute to our toolkit: help refine templates, frameworks, and knowledge base.
• Grow as a consultant: develop multi-client relationships and cross-functional collaboration.

About The Role

As an HR Generalist at Alotten, you’ll support a diverse portfolio of clients across industries and growth stages, working alongside our HR Business Partners and consultants to deliver practical, high-quality people solutions. You’ll continue to build your skills with hands‑on exposure to the full range of HR, from day‑to‑day operations to strategic projects. This role is designed to advance to work as an Alotten consultant, providing strategic HR guidance to a variety of clients.

This role is ideal for an HR professional with a solid foundation who is curious, eager to learn, and excited to grow their consulting skills as part of a collaborative team of experts.

What You’ll Do

• Support Client Engagements: Partner with Alotten HR Business Partners to support client leaders and HR teams, helping assess needs, gather information, and carry out people initiatives that align with business goals.
• Deliver Day-to-Day HR: Build, implement, and maintain HR processes and programs such as onboarding workflows, performance review cycles, policy updates, and compliance requirements, keeping work organized and accurate across multiple clients.
• Assist with Employee Relations: Help manage employee questions and routine employee relations matters, escalating complex issues and providing sound, practical guidance in consultation with senior team members.
• Use Data to Inform Work: Gather and analyze HR data, including insights from the Alotten Score, to help measure impact, spot trends, and support recommendations.
• Execute Collaboratively: Roll up your sleeves with client teams to keep projects moving, whether supporting an HRIS rollout, assisting with job leveling, or coordinating a key people process.
• Contribute to Our Toolkit: Help build and refine Alotten’s templates, frameworks, and knowledge base so our team can serve clients more effectively.
• Grow as a Consultant: Learn how to manage multiple client relationships, prioritize competing needs, and communicate with confidence, with mentorship and exposure to cross‑functional projects and special initiatives.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of HR experience in a generalist, coordinator, or HR operations role
• Working knowledge of core HR areas such as onboarding, employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, and HR systems
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Clear, professional communication and a client-service mindset
• Genuine curiosity and a desire to learn the consulting side of HR, including how to work across multiple clients as part of a team

Nice to Have

• Exposure to multiple HR functions such as Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, or Learning and Development
• Experience in a consulting, PEO, agency, or fractional HR environment
• aPHR, PHR, or SHRM-CP certification, or progress toward one
