Pretium Packaging is seeking an hands-on HR Manager with Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities for our Peru, Illinois plant. This role focuses on building strong teams while leading workplace safety initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Safety, Business or related field.
• 3+ years HR experience, with EHS exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, etc.).
• Familiarity with OSHA and environmental compliance.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll processing.
• Excellent communication and employee engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle HR for hourly workforce.
• Lead safety programs and audits to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Partner with leaders on employee relations and performance management.
• Coordinate benefits administration, payroll support, and HRIS data accuracy.
• Develop and deliver safety training and PPE programs.
