Job summary

Bronx Community Health Network (BCHN) in Bronx, NY is seeking a dynamic Director of Human Resources to lead HR strategy across talent acquisition, employee relations, development, engagement, compensation, benefits and performance management.

Reporting to the CEO and partnering with the executive team, you will align HR initiatives with BCHN's mission and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations while building a culture of compassion and equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience in healthcare or nonprofit settings.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and healthcare workforce requirements.
• Experience supporting senior leadership and translating strategy into HR plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with BCHN’s mission and values.
• Lead talent acquisition, retention, and workforce planning for clinical and administrative roles.
• Oversee employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
• Manage compensation, benefits, and HRIS and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
• Support credentialing and staff development programs.
