Job summary

Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP) seeks an accomplished HR Director to lead our human resources program in alignment with our justice, equity, diversity and representation values. You will collaborate with unionized staff and management across Seattle and satellite offices, shaping policies and supporting staff wellness.

You bring a minimum of five years in HR, strong cultural competence, and a track record in building fair, collaborative workplaces within a nonprofit context.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a human resources role.
• Experience building just, equitable and collaborative cultures.
• Proficient with information management platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication; confidentiality.
• Experience in multilingual environments.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding; administering benefits; providing staff support.
• Furthering union-management collaborations; maintaining best practices in policies and procedures.
• Report to either the Executive Director or Administrative Director depending on experience.
