Whitman Hospital & Medical Clinics (WHMC), located in the charming rural community of Colfax, Washington—just 30 minutes from Pullman, home of Washington State University is seeking an experienced Interim HR Director to provide leadership and support during a transitional period.

• Fully on-site role, with occasional remote flexibility
• Length of Contract:13 weeks (with potential to extend or convert to permanent)
• Schedule:40 hours per week (8-hour days, 5 days per week)
• Compensation:Weekly pay rangeof $2,620–$2,900, depending on experience and eligibility for tax-free stipends (which include lodging and meals)
• Start Date:6/22/2026

WHMC is a Critical Access Hospital serving its community with approximately 300 employees and a dedicated HR team of 3 staff members. The HR Director will report directly to the CEO and play a key role in maintaining continuity, supporting staff, and ensuring compliance across all HR functions.
