Job description

Are you a data-driven professional who enjoys turning complex data into clear, actionable insights?

We are looking for an HR Data & Reporting Analyst to help transform HR and workforce data into meaningful reporting and analytics. This is a technical reporting and analytics role focused on data, dashboards, visualization, and business insights—not a traditional HRIS administration position.

You’ll work closely with HR and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, analyze large datasets, build impactful dashboards, and develop solutions that help leadership make informed decisions.

What You’ll Do
  • Gather, analyze, cleanse, and normalize HR and organizational data from multiple sources.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for HR and business leadership.
  • Use tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx to transform data into actionable insights.
  • Analyze workforce metrics including headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and other people analytics.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports, spreadsheets, charts, and presentations based on business requirements.
  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical reporting solutions.
  • Identify and resolve missing, incomplete, inconsistent, or anomalous data.
  • Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting solutions.
  • Define data elements, document reporting logic, and communicate data limitations to end users.
  • Improve existing reporting processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Support data testing and validation to ensure reports accurately reflect business requirements.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across HR, IT, and the broader business on reporting and analytics initiatives.
  • Help develop scalable reporting solutions that enable better workforce and business decisions.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, HR, or a related field.
  • Approximately 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, HR analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience working with HR, employee, workforce, or organizational data.
  • Hands‑on experience with at least one BI/reporting platform such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to data accuracy.
  • Ability to translate business questions and reporting requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain data and reporting results to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with SQL or other data querying technologies.
  • Experience with data transformation, ETL, or data preparation.
  • Experience building executive or management dashboards.
  • Knowledge of HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, recruiting, workforce trends, and organizational analytics.
  • Experience automating recurring reports or manual data processes.
  • Experience testing data and applications against business requirements.
  • Workday or other HRIS experience is a plus, but not required.
Why This Role?

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded analyst who enjoys working with data, building reports, solving data problems, and creating dashboards that have a direct impact on business decisions.

If you're someone who can take raw workforce data and turn it into a clear, useful story through Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Excel, and analytics, we'd love to hear from you.
