Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking an HR Data Reporting and Analytics Manager to turn workforce data into actionable insights. You’ll develop ad hoc, recurring, and self‑service analyses and dashboards, partnering with HR and business leaders to inform decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • 5+ years in HRIS and/or reporting roles with report development or data analytics.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to handle confidential data.
  • Experience with HR systems and reporting tools is preferred.

The Workforce Intelligence Team is part of HR and provides workforce related reporting, analytics, and business insights to HR professionals and business leaders across Schwab.

Our team is looking for an HR Data Reporting and Analytics Managerwho is comfortable navigating a variety of tools, who has an eye for details, and who is passionate about turning data into actionable insights. In this team, members couple their analytical strength with functional expertise to bridge the gap between business problems and data driven solutions applying available workforce data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Using HR systems and database tools to develop and deliver ad hoc, recurring, and on-demand / self-service analysis and data solutions.
  • Working with various HR system tools to build and maintain self-service reports or dashboards.
  • Independently or with a team, exploring and inventing new ways to take on data or technical challenges.
  • Designing, estimating, and personally executing an analysis plan based on a high-level functional issue description or business question.
  • Describing your own analysis and the insights you draw from it to others in HR or the business.
  • Recommending business process or system improvements to reporting capabilities and influence system owners to incorporate changes.
  • Peer reviewing code and reporting and performing data validation as related to data acquisition for analytic purposes.
  • Ensuring products are delivered that are audience appropriate, adhering to HR standards for data sharing and meeting the client’s need accurately.
What you have

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 plus years proven experience in HRIS and/or Reporting roles with any or all of the following types of work: Report Development, Data Analytics.
  • Strong Excel experience, including reviewing and manipulating data.
  • Highly proficient in reporting, quality assessment, structuring, optimizing, analyzing and interpreting data.
  • High degree of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, quality focused with an appreciation for structure and standards
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with ServiceNow, Workday, ATS platform (e.g. iCIMS, Eightfold), SQL, Beeline, and/or other reporting tools.
  • An understanding of core Human Resources functions and typical workforce management processes and related data.
  • A passion for creating exceptional user experience
  • Demonstrable ability to interpret business processes and needs and translate them into streamlined reporting and dashboards.
  • Demonstrated dedication to building rapport with stakeholders and working with others in a team to accomplish a goal.
  • Proven success in managing multiple tasks at once.
