Position Highlights A successful HR Data and Technology Analyst I will work to optimize HR software by translating business needs into system configurations, workflows, and improvements. They will act as a bridge between HR units and the HR Systems team; they ensure platforms are efficient, compliant, and user-friendly. A successful HR Data and Technology Analyst I provide assistance in coordinating processes using low-code/no-code tools like Monday.com and Microsoft Power Platform while supporting data-driven decisions through reports and visualizations

Duties & ResponsibilitiesHR Software Systems
- Provides assistance in coordinating HR units and HR Systems to optimize software platforms.
- Helps defines system specs and functional requirements for new processes and enhancements.
- Helps test cases to ensure accuracy, compliance, and usability.
- Assists with configurations for systems, workflows, and automation using low-code/no-code tools like Monday.com and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Maintains documentation, training materials, and user guides to support adoption.
Division Data Analyst
- Assist with compiling, preparing, and analyzing data for division and external requests, including AAP, OFCCP, and internal KPI metrics.
- Helps manage day-to-day and ad hoc reporting needs.
- Creates automated reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to enhance data accessibility.
Process & System Evaluation
- Attend meetings with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to assess HR system enhancements and process improvements.
- Researches and evaluates new tools, processes, and system functionalities to optimize HR operations and address evolving business needs.
Guidance and Mentorship
- Provides guidance on HR technology best practices and procedural tasks to HR colleagues.
- Supports knowledge sharing and assists in training HR staff on system functionalities and process improvements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Skilled in scripting and process automation across platforms.
- Proficient in Excel functions, including advanced lookups, text manipulation, data aggregation, formatting, and logic, plus data tools like Power Query and Power Pivot.
- Experienced in navigating cloud-based apps like project management and intranet software.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
- 1 year of relevant work experience is required.

Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
