Job summary

This role partners with hiring managers and departments to provide recruitment guidance, ensure compliance with laws, maintain position descriptions, and support data reporting while upholding MCC's commitment to inclusive, fair hiring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Management or related area*.
• One (1) year experience in administrative support, accounting or human resource related experience.
• *Minimum Education Qualification can be substituted with an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
• Preferred Qualifications include experience with Talent, Employee Compensation and Onboarding.
• Knowledge of HR principles, laws, and best practices; strong customer service and data reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities for full-time and part-time positions, including job postings, applicant screening, hiring packets, and candidate offers.
• Partner with hiring managers, employees, applicants, and internal departments to provide recruitment guidance, customer service, and effective communication throughout the hiring process.
• Review, update, and maintain position descriptions and coordinate faculty recruitment activities with Academic Affairs.
• Process, maintain, and audit employee and applicant data; prepare reports and ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve process and operational issues while recommending improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Coordinate and supervise overall recruitment process for full-time and part-time employees
