Gunnison Valley Health is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to perform clerical HR duties for the Gunnison Valley Health System. You will be the first point of contact for internal customers, assisting with policies, procedures, and information while supporting recruitment and staff retention.

Responsibilities include maintaining employee files, assisting with payroll data entry, managing the learning management system, coordinating recognition events, and preparing orientation materials.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year of clerical experience; healthcare or HR experience preferred.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly guidance and organize HR support across topics.
• Perform payroll data entry, workers' comp, pre-employment, and maintain employee files.
• Manage the online learning management system and keep training records current.
• Plan and coordinate employee recognition events.
• Organize Employee Orientation Day logistics.
• Run monthly HR file tracers to ensure audit readiness.
