Job summary

Freedman by Lippert in Chicago seeks an HR associate to partner with department leaders, answer employee HR questions, and drive engagement across the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a human resources role.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a healthy work environment and explains HR programs to Team Members.
• Answers Team Members' questions on HR policies confidentially in writing and verbally.
• Advises leaders on people issues and escalates complex matters as needed.
• Provides payroll-related support and conducts weekly audits; coordinates with third-party staffing agencies.
