The Facilities Group is seeking an in-office Human Resources Coordinator in Tampa, FL. You will support onboarding, HRIS data entry, and employee records while handling high-volume HR transactions with accuracy. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and experience with ADP Workforce is preferred.

Work closely with the Director of Human Resources and support HR programs across multiple brands in a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance and timely responses to inquiries.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of HR experience preferred; administrative experience considered.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication tools.

Responsibilities

  • Handle high-volume HR transactions and onboarding across multiple brands.
  • Maintain HRIS data entry, employee records, and compliance tasks.
  • Conduct background checks and I-9 forms; support recruitment activities.
  • Triage inquiries from applicants and employees; coordinate with HR team.
  • Stay updated on employment laws and HR technologies.
  • Support special projects and other duties as needed.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will support and execute high-volume HR transactions and administrative processes across multiple brands. You will help keep day-to-day HR operations running smoothly by managing new-hire onboarding, HRIS data entry, employee records, and other essential HR processes with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. You will serve as a resource for employees while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment where responsiveness, organization, and follow-through are critical. Our ideal candidate is English/ Spanish Bilingual, a fast learner, works well in a high-volume environment, and pays great attention to detail. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources.

This is an in-office role based out of Tampa, FL. Candidates are eligible for 1 hybrid work-from-home day after a 90-day probationary period.

  • Plays as a vital source of general human resources information for our employees.
  • Conducts administrative onboarding of new hires in HRIS system.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files.
  • Abides by company HR processes and current employment laws and regulations.
  • Organizes, maintains, and updates employee HRIS information, as needed.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs.
  • May perform some recruitment duties, facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants.
  • Triages calls and emails from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Maintains general knowledge of trends, best practices, employment laws, and HR related technologies.
  • Supports any other special projects that arise based on organizational need.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
HR Coordinator Requirements & Qualifications
  • 1+ years of previous Human Resources experience preferred; candidates with relevant office or administrative experience, including Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, Receptionist, or similar roles, will also be considered.
  • English/Spanish Bilingual is a plus. +
  • Experience using ADP Workforce. (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related business and communication tools.
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to be flexible – priorities can shift quickly.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
