Priority Ondemand is seeking an experienced HRIS/HR operations professional to strengthen compliance oversight, audit readiness, and credential management across our organization.   • Audit and maintain training records in HRIS and provide completion reports for HR and leadership.

ROLE SUMMARY

This role is to provide significant value to the organization through enhanced compliance oversight, audit readiness, and workforce credential management. This position is in place to strengthen our compliance infrastructure, reduce organizational risk, and improve operational consistency across all regions and service lines by connecting groups and ensuring that requirements, timelines, and reporting are applied consistently across the organization. This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this position. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, or qualifications required. This is an Exempt/Salaried position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational HR Support:
  • Serve as the primary HR partner for corporate leadership and employees, providing timely support on employee relations, staffing challenges, and day-to-day HR needs.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, SOPs, and company standards across assigned markets.
Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal policies
  • Support certification, licensure, and training compliance in coordination with Operations and Compliance teams
  • Coordinate the annual compliance training process across the enterprise, including developing and maintaining the training calendar, managing course assignments, tracking completion, issuing reminders and escalations
  • Execute batch imports of learning courses into additional HRIS systems, as needed, for certification and training tracking
  • Partnering closely with clinical leadership and operational teams to ensure all required certifications and credentials remain current, including ACLS, CPR, state-specific driver’s licenses, professional licenses and other role-specific requirements
  • Monitoring and administering contract-driven and state-mandated certification requirements to ensure ongoing compliance across all applicable employee populations.
  • Ensuring certification and credential requirements are accurately configured and maintained within scheduling systems, including enforcing restrictions that prevent scheduling employees whose required credentials have expired
  • Identify and escalated potential risk areas proactively
  • This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to all company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
  • Conducting routine enterprise-wide compliance audits covering:
    • Professional certifications and licenses
    • Annual compliance training completion
    • Background check compliance
    • I-9 documentation
    • E-Verify requirements
    • Contractual and regulatory workforce compliance obligations
  • Create and utilize standardization processes for our compliance auditing across the enterprise, establishing a consistent framework and audit discipline as though every company operates under CAAS accreditation standards
  • Responsible for identifying compliance gaps, escalating areas of risk, partnering with leaders and supporting regulatory readiness through the maintenance of audit documentation and compliance records
  • Serve as the central HR Liaison between Corporate Compliance and the regional training teams
  • Provide guidance regarding required content and regulatory expectations, while the regional teams support implementation and address location-specific needs.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Support special HR projects and initiatives as assigned
  • All actions must align with company values and operational standards
Employee Experience:
  • Monitor trends in turnover and provide recommendations for improvement
Data & Reporting:
  • Auditing and tracking required annual compliance training, including HIPAA, Compliance, Ethics and other mandatory organizational trainings.
  • Maintain training records, and provide completion reports for HR and operational leadership.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve operational performance
  • Assist with data validation and reporting accuracy for HR initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate data within HRIS systems
Qualifications: Required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HRIS administration or HR operations
  • Working knowledge of basic certification requirements
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and HR reporting tools.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with integrated HR systems such as learning management or certification tracking systems preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, EMS, behavioral health, or other 24/7 operational environments
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
  • Experience supporting large, distributed workforces
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video conferencing, and electronic communication.

  • The ability to use mouse or keyboard to input data into computer over long periods of time.
