Job summary

KOCH FOODS INC in Pine Mountain Valley, GA seeks an HR Assistant to support daily HR activities in a manufacturing setting. You will help update employee records, assist with new hire orientation, recruit as needed, and generate HR reports.

The role requires strong computer skills, a professional demeanor, knowledge of HR regulations, and the ability to work in a busy plant environment with PPE provided. This is a 3rd shift, on-site position with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Basic to advanced computer skills and software aptitude.
• Familiarity with HR processes and regulatory awareness.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Support daily HR activities and update employee records.
• Provide employee assistance and respond to HR questions.
• Assist with new hire orientation and recruiting as needed.
• Create and distribute HR reports as needed.
• Perform clerical duties and data entry; maintain employee files.
• Ensure HIPAA and privacy guidelines are followed.
• Other relevant duties to the job.

• Assist to organize medical information, ensuring HIPAA and employee privacy guidelines are executed.
• Provide assistance with new hire orientation and recruiting as needed.
• Create and distribute HR reports as needed.
• Assist employees with HR related questions.
• Other relevant duties to the job.

Requirements

• Expert proficiency with technology and computers.

• General knowledge of HR related regulations and labor laws.

Physical Requirements

• Typical office environment within a manufacturing plant utilizing computers, telephones and other office equipment.
• Frequently sit for long periods.
• Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• May be exposed to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• May be exposed to damp, wet, and cold environments.
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
