Job summary

Koch Foods Inc. is seeking an HR Assistant for a first-shift role in a manufacturing environment. This position supports daily HR activities, maintains employee records, assists with orientation and recruiting, and helps generate HR reports. The role emphasizes HIPAA privacy, data entry, and providing employee support.

On-the-job training is provided. The candidate should be tech-savvy, professional, and knowledgeable about HR regulations. Shift timing is approximately 7:30 am to 4 pm.

Responsibilities

• Support daily HR activities, helping to update employee records and provide employee assistance.
• Perform clerical duties, data entry and maintain employee files.
• Assist to organize medical information, ensuring HIPAA and privacy guidelines are followed.
• Provide assistance with new hire orientation and recruiting as needed.
• Create and distribute HR reports as needed.
• Assist employees with HR related questions.
• Other relevant duties to the job.

Physical Requirements

• Typical office environment within a manufacturing plant utilizing computers, telephones and other office equipment.
• Frequently sit for long periods.
• Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• May be exposed to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• May be exposed to damp, wet, and cold environments.
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
