Job summary

PRT, North America’s leading forest seedling grower, is seeking an HR Business Partner for our U.S. operations based in Washington. You will partner with leaders across performance, recruitment, onboarding, compensation and policy to support a people-first culture.

You’ll advise managers, handle employee relations, ensure compliance with U.S. laws, administer leaves and onboarding, and help improve HR processes while traveling to other PRT U.S. sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• SHRM-CP or equivalent HR designation.
• Min 5 years HR experience, including generalist duties.
• Willingness to travel to other PRT U.S. locations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on performance, engagement, compensation and workplace practices.
• Coach managers through employee relations and performance issues.
• Oversee recruitment, job descriptions, postings, interviews and offers.
• Support onboarding, payroll, and new-hire documentation.
• Maintain U.S. employee handbook and policy updates for compliance.
• Improve HR processes in coordination with Payroll and other functions.
