Job summary

Olin is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to strengthen organizational effectiveness across Clayton, MO, and East Alton, IL operations. The role partners with leaders to drive employee relations, performance management, talent development, and HR compliance.

The HRBP collaborates to identify staffing needs, supports recruitment, enforces labor policies, and coordinates engagement initiatives, with up to 10% travel and onsite work at both locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Organizational Development, or Business discipline.
• Minimum three years of HR Generalist experience; manufacturing union environment preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with PeopleSoft/Workday, Dimensions, or SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with leaders and employees to promote engagement and productivity.
• Guide managers through performance reviews and develop performance management strategies.
• Identify training needs and support employee development initiatives.
• Partner with leaders to identify staffing needs and support recruitment strategies.
• Communicate, interpret, and enforce HR policies while ensuring compliance with labor laws.
• Support Labor Relations activities and administer bargaining unit processes (East Alton).
• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and coordinate events.
• Administer progressive discipline up to termination.
