Position type: Exempt

The HR Business Partner promotes and implements human resource values by planning and managing human resources programs and directing staff training, counseling, and disciplining staff. The HR-BP will also lead in developing organizational strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire HR function at Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals, Inc.
  • Convey and interpret HR policies, practices, and procedures to employees and managers.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Compile data for various surveys related to HR.
  • Stay informed of developments affecting HR; recommend actions to management.
  • Participate in benefit surveys, develop and administer benefits plans, communicate with employees, and handle benefit records and requests.
  • Perform job analysis, write job descriptions, evaluate positions, and develop pay structures and budgets.
  • Assist in Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity programs, conduct audits, and resolve discrimination complaints.
  • Analyze training needs, develop training materials, coordinate training programs, and evaluate their effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Related experience in manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • HR professional certification preferred but not required
  • 3-5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a professional/technical environment
