Job summary

Precision Fluid Controls, Inc. in Lincoln, CA is seeking an HR Business Partner to partner with the HR Manager and deploy people strategies to retain talent and guide managers on HR policies.

You will handle recruitment, onboarding, training, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and confidentiality, reporting to the HR Manager. This on-site role requires 2+ years HR experience and a collaborative, fast-paced mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of human resources experience.
• Demonstrated success at building effective relationships.

• Familiarity with HRIS, ATSs and other HR Software.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Precision Fluid Controls, Inc. designs, manufactures and tests components for launch vehicles and ground support applications—providing many types of valves including throttling valves, ball valves, check and relief valves, vent and relief valves, pressure reducing, both manual and dome loaded, regulators, sleeve valves, butterfly valves, solenoid valves plus many others.

About the role:

PFC is in search of an HR Business Partner. In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner with the HR Manager to execute people strategies to retain talent, coaching employees and managers on HR policies and guidelines. We serve as trusted professionals providing guidance and feedback to our client groups, driving efficiencies and best practices in a highly dynamic and fast-paced organization.

The role is a fullyon-siterole located in ourLincoln, CAoffices and will report directly to the Manager, Human Resources.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain employee files and process HR transactions
• Respond to employee inquiries, questions and concerns, and provide information, guidance and direction on employee relations issues, performance management, and other core HR functions
• Own HR efforts in the areas of: recruitment, onboarding, training and development, compensation, and benefits.
• Counsel and assist employees and managers, guided by the Company’s policies and relevant laws/regulations
• Oversee and facilitate promotion opportunities, conduct exit interviews, and identify trends to support retention, career development and to minimize risk for the business
• Work with managers and above to implement key HR recommendations and change efforts
• Assist with the creation, documentation, and implementation of human resources policies, programs, and processes
• Uphold standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters and documents

What You’ll Need:

• 2+ years of human resources experience
• Demonstrated success at building effective relationships
• Ability to lead with a positive attitude and approach challenges head-on
• Familiarity with HRIS, ATS’s and other HR Software
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use independent judgment to make decisions as well as organize and prioritize work
• Demonstrated excellence thriving in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Nice to Have:

• Experience in an engineering, production or manufacturing environment supporting an exempt and hourly workforce
• Experience independently handling employee relations issues
