Job summary

HCA UK is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join a progressive HR team in London. You will partner with senior leaders, providing strategic and commercially viable HR guidance while driving business performance and leadership development.

This is a fixed-term, full-time role based onsite at 37.5 hours per week. You will lead HR strategic initiatives, support organisational change, and coach managers to deliver clinical excellence, with a focus on stakeholder

Qualifications

  • CIPD qualification level 5 or 7 preferred.
  • Experience advising at an executive/board level in a large commercial setting.
  • Healthcare experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with CHRO to implement HR strategy and organisational development.
  • Collaborate with facility CHRO to deliver HR objectives and initiatives.
  • Coach managers to drive performance and clinical excellence.
  • Support change programs including restructures and realignments.
  • Provide ER guidance and work with Legal to mitigate risks.
  • Analyze HR metrics and report KPIs to leadership.

Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

London: The Princess Grace Hospital/Sarah Cannon Research Institute Fixed Term Contract~ 1 year Full-time 37.5 hours per week (onsite) Salary Competitive

We are recruiting for a Human Resources Business Partner to join a progressive and dynamic HR team at The Harley Street Campus comprising of: The Harley Street Clinic, HCA UK at UCH, The Princess Grace Hospital, Leaders in Oncology Care (LOC) and Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI).

In the role of HRBP you will partner stakeholders, providing strategic and commercially viable advice, support and guidance on a range of people matters, while driving business performance by coaching and developing managers, and ensuring alignment with the wider HR strategy and business goals.

What You’ll Do
  • Work with the CHRO to develop and implement the HR strategy in key areas relating to people management and organisational development.
  • Work with the facility CHRO to partner with the management team in the delivery of key HR objectives, business relating growth projects, service realignments, promotion, local HR and Corporate initiatives.
  • Support the management team in promoting a culture of performance and clinical excellence.
  • Partner and support the facility teams on change programs including departmental reorganisations and restructures.
  • Coach and support the management team enabling them to anticipate and pre-empt organisational and people challenges.
  • Provide expert HR and employee relations advice and guidance to the facility on a variety of cases ranging in complexity; working closely with Legal to mitigate risk where necessary.
  • Champion the group employee engagement survey, working proactively with each department to ensure a programme of activity is in place to address opportunities identified from the survey results.
  • Report and analyse HR metric data and monthly reports as required to ensure the management team acts on key people KPIs.
Experience
  • CIPD Qualified ideally to a level 5, ideally level 7 or working toward
  • Considerable HR complex advisory experience, advising all staffing levels, up to including board level, in a large commercial business environment.
  • Ability to act at an operational and strategic thinking level, presenting to senior management teams.
  • Demonstrable experience of supporting HR projects and of business partnering senior teams in a fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of up to date HR Policy and experience of advising and coaching senior managers on a range of ER issues.
  • Experience of working in healthcare preferred, (but not essential)
