The HR Administrator will play an important role in ensuring providers and patient-facing staff are properly credentialed, privileged, and enrolled with applicable payers. This position will maintain accurate records, coordinate required documentation and renewals, and work closely with providers, clinical leadership, payers, and internal departments to support efficient onboarding and ongoing provider maintenance.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, managing multiple deadlines, and ensuring that important details are completed accurately and on time.

What You'll Do

Provider Credentialing & Privileging

  • Coordinate initial credentialing and recredentialing activities for providers and patient-facing staff.
  • Collect, verify, and maintain licenses, certifications, education, training, work history, and other required documentation.
  • Coordinate provider privileging applications and ensure all required information is complete and submitted timely.
  • Monitor credential and privilege expiration dates and proactively initiate renewals and recredentialing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider information within the organization's credentialing platform.
  • Communicate with providers, clinical leaders, medical staff, and external organizations to obtain information and resolve outstanding items.
  • Prepare credentialing and privileging materials for review and approval.
  • Track credentialing activities and ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.

Payer Enrollment

  • Coordinate provider enrollment, revalidation, and maintenance with insurance payers.
  • Prepare and submit payer enrollment applications and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor enrollment status and follow up with payers regarding outstanding requests or issues.
  • Maintain accurate payer enrollment records and track upcoming renewals and revalidations.
  • Coordinate updates to provider information, including demographics, locations, specialties, affiliations, and other payer requirements.

HR Administration & Support

  • Provide administrative support for HR processes, including provider onboarding and employment-related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee and provider information within HR and credentialing systems.
  • Assist with onboarding activities and ensure required documentation is completed prior to start dates.
  • Prepare reports, tracking tools, correspondence, and other materials related to HR and provider administration.
  • Respond to routine questions from employees, providers, and leadership and elevate complex issues as appropriate.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee, provider, and organizational information.
  • Assist with HR projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What We're Looking For
  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

  • Experience with provider credentialing, privileging, or payer enrollment preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with providers, leadership, and internal departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic HR or credentialing systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
