Job summary

The Community Youth Center of San Francisco seeks a Director of Human Resources & Administration to shape people strategy, policies, and culture. You will lead the HR & Administration team, align programs with the organization's mission, and coach managers across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, DEI integration, compliance, and staff development.

Qualifications

BA in Business Administration, HR, or related area.
5-7 years of experience leading the HR department, and supporting 100+ employees in multiple locations.
Hands-on builder of HR processes and programs.
Experience working with multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

Build and oversee all people practices across the organization, coaching managers and staff.
Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, talent management and change management.
Maximize the use of ADP Workforce Now for data and KPI analysis.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Serve as a strategic partner to align HR programs with goals, culture, and mission.
Provide guidance and coaching to address engagement, retention, behavior, and performance concerns.
Facilitate professional development, training, and learning for all staff.
Create and execute employee recognition and communication events.
Lead the HR & Administration Team and total compensation communication.
