MSD is offering a 12-week Future Talent Program internship in the Global Medical Affairs – HPV Vaccines team within Research Laboratories. You will work on projects with supervision to support medical education strategies and HPV research.

This internship emphasizes cross-functional discovery and exposure to real-world evidence trends in vaccination and cervical cancer screening. The role is remote with flexibility for US-based candidates, requiring a PhD candidate in public health or an MD

Qualifications

• PhD Candidate in School of Public Health, preferably Epidemiology but can include Policy/Implementation with Epi focus, or MD candidate.
• Experience with developing and publishing systematic literature reviews.
• Experience with HPV, vaccines, STI, or cervical cancer epidemiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute projects with supervisor to support HPV vaccine/HPV-related medical affairs efforts.
• Summarize key publications into digestible one-pagers for internal audiences.
• Assist with updates on real-world evidence related to HPV vaccine and literature review.
• Create medical narratives related to key HPV issues and communicate scientific messages.
