Pexco Custom Plastics in Morrisville, PA is seeking a Process Engineer to design extrusion tooling and develop processes that improve quality, material usage, and productivity. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, QC, Materials, and Sales to meet customer expectations and deliver samples on time.

The role requires hands-on tooling development, strong drawing interpretation, and cross-functional communication.

Formación

• BS in Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of plastics extrusion experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Design tooling and develop processes for mono and co-extrusion plastic profiles, tubes and secondary fabrication.
• Lead new tooling development with a hands-on approach to meet customer expectations and deliver samples on time.
• Coordinate tooling needs with Die Development, technicians, Production Manager and others for first article samples.
• Oversee machine shop tool making to ensure designs meet criteria and quality standards.
• Coordinate tool making with the machine shop and establish priorities with engineers and VP of Engineering.
• Plan and coordinate tool development trials and maintain engineering documentation.
