Actalent is seeking an Analytical Development Chemist to join a collaborative team supporting new products and client projects through analytical testing, method development, transfer, and validation. The role emphasizes hands-on HPLC and dissolution work within GMP testing and development‑focused projects.

You will work with chemists and cross‑functional teams, perform analyses, document results, and contribute to method improvements while ensuring compliance and quality across assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on HPLC experience with data analysis.
• Experience with dissolution testing strongly preferred.
• Experience working in a GMP-regulated laboratory.
• Exposure to method development, validation, transfer, GC, or wet chemistry is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative laboratory team.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing on raw materials and finished products.
• Operate and troubleshoot HPLC systems and perform dissolution testing.
• Support method development, verification, transfer, and validation activities.
• Perform GC, impurity, wet chemistry, titration, and other analytical testing as needed.
• Prepare samples and accurately analyze, interpret, and document results.
• Troubleshoot methods and analytical issues alongside other scientists.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with GMP requirements.
• Collaborate with chemists and cross‑functional teams on new and ongoing projects.
