Job summary

Trialco Aluminum LLC in Detroit, MI is seeking a skilled Tooling and Die Design Engineer to bridge advanced simulation engineering with customer collaboration. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in aluminum high-pressure die casting and be proficient in 3D modeling software, delivering innovative tooling designs.

The successful candidate will work closely with client engineering teams, lead DFM reviews, and ensure alignment of client expectations with production realities, all while maintaining meticulous design documentation.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in tooling design and simulation engineering for aluminum/magnesium HPDC.
• Proficient in 3D liquid flow and solidification modeling software.
• Strong hands-on experience with 3D CAD design software.

Responsibilities

• Utilize MAGMA5, FLOW-3D for comprehensive simulations.
• Design and optimize complete die casting tooling layouts.
• Lead DFM reviews and engineer design modifications.
