Job summary

Millison Casting Technology, LLC in Sallisaw, Oklahoma is seeking a Die Repair Technician to maintain and repair high-pressure die casting dies and related tooling. You will work with production, engineering and maintenance to keep tooling in production-ready condition while minimizing downtime and maximizing die life.

The role requires hands-on machining, welding and inspection, with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or certification in Tool & Die or machining.
• 3+ years HPDC tooling repair preferred.
• Experience with aluminum die casting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and rebuilds on HPDC dies, trim dies, and tooling.
• Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and reassemble die cast tooling components.
• Diagnose tooling failures and determine corrective actions to restore production.
• Repair die components using welding, machining, polishing and fitting.
• Read engineering drawings and tooling specs; conduct dimensional inspections.
• Support die tryouts and production startups after repairs.
