Job summary

Fuse Engineering is seeking a System Administrator to provide network management and systems administration for the customer’s High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure and HPC development environment.

In this role you will work across Linux/Windows environments, develop scripts in Bash and Python, manage storage and virtualization, and ensure security and compliance while troubleshooting issues and delivering reports.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience developing scripts using Bash and Python.
• Experience performing system administration including installation, configuration, and support of software, packages, and libraries.
• Experience with clustered network appliances and FC SAN storage.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and issue resolution with reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide network management and systems administration for the customer’s HPC infrastructure and development environment.
• Maintain and support the HPC environment, including storage, networks, and virtualization aspects.
• Troubleshoot, interface with customers, track discrepancies, and generate reports.
• Leverage Splunk and Elastic Stack for monitoring and analysis.
• Implement IaC and automation using SaltStack and Ansible.
