Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator to own and advance a high-performance IT environment supporting CNO capabilities. You will document precisely, optimize workflows, and collaborate across data center teams to accelerate future engineering efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 9 years of IT/Systems Administration experience.
• Strong Linux administration in mission-critical environments.
• Experience with enterprise GPU-accelerated HPC systems (NVIDIA).
• Experience with structured data center deployment and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with virtualization and enterprise networking troubleshooting.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain HPC hardware including NVIDIA H100, H200, and B300 platforms.
• Lead installation, sustainment, uninstallation, and relocation of hardware in a government data warehouse environment with configuration integrity.
• Maintain meticulous technical documentation, network diagrams, and SOPs for scalable deployment playbooks.
• Build strong relationships with onsite data center admins to streamline troubleshooting and bridge gaps.
• Partner with contract engineering teams to enhance system performance and user workflows.
• Support virtualization efforts and IT modernization, including AWS cloud and LLM infrastructure.
