Job summary

Vibrint seeks a System Administrator to advance Linux/Unix environments on an HPC program that supports mission-critical analysis. You will configure, maintain, and optimize multi-vendor HPC servers and storage, working with a skilled team to deliver reliable, scalable computing for national security missions.

The role requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph and US citizenship. Strong scripting, storage, and HPC networking expertise are essential for success in a fast-paced, mission-driven

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux OS install, file system configuration, TCP/IP networking, configuration, operating system and application troubleshooting, BASH scripting, software compilation and install.
• Technical storage experience.
• Understanding of HPC architecture and high-speed networks (InfiniBand, Slingshot).
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, Slurm, git, Salt, Ansible.
• Proven troubleshooting skills across diverse systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and DoD 8570 IAT II certification.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and advance Linux/Unix operating systems and related software.
• Provide IT system and storage support, troubleshoot and maintain reliability.
• Offer Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Support day-to-day IT operations and monitoring for client storage/network devices.
• Communicate effectively, contribute to team efficiency, and optimize resources.
• Perform system capacity analysis and planning to improve performance.
