Job summary

Intel in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking an Experienced Hire to plan, manage, and optimize storage and backup infrastructure, including NAS, S3, and NetApp environments. You will design scalable storage solutions, enforce data protection policies, and monitor performance to ensure data integrity and security.

A Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related STEM field and 1+ year of experience with NetApp NAS environments (NFS/SMB/iSCSI) plus scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related STEM field.
• 1+ year of experience with large enterprise NAS environments and NetApp products.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and optimize installation, configuration, and tuning NAS, S3, and backup solutions.
• Design scalable storage and backup infrastructure; document configuration changes.
• Develop and enforce data protection policies and ensure regulatory compliance and data security.
• Monitor storage and backup usage, project growth, and data migrations; optimize configurations.
• Oversee daily storage operations and hardware maintenance; ensure data integrity.
