Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a HPC Software Integration Engineer to support the CASA Compute Environment SaaS team and mission services. You will maintain containerized apps and develop new CCE functionality in a Kubernetes environment.

Description

We are seeking a Software Integration Engineer who shall be responsible for supporting the CASA Compute Environment (CCE) SaaS team and mission services. The CCE provides several containerized services that customers can provision and access on demand inside of a Kubernetes cluster. In this position, the Software Engineer shall perform maintenance and troubleshooting of containerized applications, upgrade services, assist customers using the CCE and develop any required software for new CCE functionality and services.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance (within 7 years) is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment or the individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience or an industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute as one (1) year experience. A Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years' experience.

Required skills

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux suite of tools
• Experience writing Bash/PHP scripts to automate administrative tasks and workflows
• Recent software development experience using Python and Java
• Experience with IaC principles and automation tools such as Ansible
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Experience creating documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changes
• Experience with Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration

Desired skills

• Experience with sustaining mission applications deployed in a Linux environment
• Experience with interacting/training external customers
