Job summary

NorthMark Compute & Cloud is looking for a highly motivated individual to join their HPC Scheduling team in Dallas, Texas. This position focuses on developing and managing high-performance compute platforms, particularly utilizing Kubernetes to run batch workloads at scale.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong software engineering background with relevant experience in Kubernetes, Golang, and cloud infrastructures. Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and emerging technologies in this cutting-edge environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with developing Kubernetes components, such as controllers and operators.
• Experience with event-driven programming and message queues, such as Apache Kafka and Pulsar.
• Experience operating or using job scheduling systems, such as SLURM.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality software solutions using procedural programming languages.
• Build and maintain scalable, globally distributed systems for large-scale research workloads.
• Develop and operate containerized applications within Kubernetes.
